This stunning piece of portable history has an incredible provenance to accompany its lovely Art Deco look. This Rolex Prince 1/4 Century Club was presented in 1944 to David Baird for twenty-five consecutive years of work at Eaton's (one of Canada's iconic department stores). Long gone are the days of receiving Rolex's as company gifts!

This elongated dial features '1/4 Century Club' and 'Eaton' on the dial (time displayed on the upper half and sub-seconds on the bottom half) and is engraved with the original inscription on the back and even has the Rolex emblem on the buckle. This watch has hourglass shaped sides along the case and an almost inset crown giving it a sleek dressy look. The case is made from solid 14k yellow gold which adds to the majesty of this beautiful timepiece.

What really sets this wrist watch apart is the meticulous provenance that has been documented through the years. This watch comes with a list of names of every owner of the watch since it was presented to its original recipient in 1944. It also comes with the original film photos of the watch presenting ceremony and the original certificate as well. All beautifully preserved. This watch is a truly incredible collector's piece and has been thoroughly enjoyed by its previous owners before making its way to Francis Jewellers.
